How many times you have been hurt and got angry on someone? How many times you hated someone in your head or out loud? How many times you thought that certain person did you wrong and how you wanted him/her to get their punishment?
We all have experience of these bad feelings, but not all of us got a chance to say that we forgave and forgot. That is really hard to do - especially when someone hurt you so bad you had few years to recover. Or maybe you never fully did. But to forgive and forget is really important because of nothing else but - YOURSELF.
I don't want to be in my own created prison, so I choose forgiveness. But forgiveness is not enough - not to keep some bad memories and emotions in to yourself is the best cure - to forget, let it go, let it fly to the sky, reach the sun and burn. That is what you have to do to be completely free. Free from pain, bad emotions, hurt and so on.
Only by forgetting and letting go - we can make ourselves heal and be happy again.
You can't go inside of other person mind and head and to know what real motives he/she had when she/he decided to hurt you. You never know the full story of other person that is why to forgive is the best we can do not only for ourselves, but for them also.
Maybe no one ever understood them, loved them and even care about them? Yes they did us wrong and they know that. To be angry and hate - will only feed their inner evil and they will never heal. But by our forgiveness they can heal.
Once again - do not close yourself in to prison. Spread your wings and fly to better tomorrow !!
